The staff, pupils, parents and governors of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are seeking an excellent Early Years practitioner to work alongside our Early Years team as Reception Class Teaching Assistant. We are a family school at the heart of a very special parish community. We are growing and flourishing together and are looking for the right person, who shares our ethos and values, to join our family. At St Joseph's, we are a Lancashire School of Sanctuary - a place of safety and refuge for all. We recognise each induvial - child and adult - for the unique gift from God that they are, with all the blessings and talents that they bring to our family.
Our children (and staff) are encouraged to be everything that God wants them to be - we give them every opportunity to uncover and nurture their talents including Forest School, Outdoor and Adventurous residential activity in every year group and a curriculum that ignites their curiosity and passion for lifelong learning. Our Building the Kingdom curriculum, in the Summer term, sees each adult in school leading small group learning to further develop children's skills in bushcraft, sewing, cookery, dance, gardening, climbing, boxing, portraiture, robot building...and so much more! We hope to find the missing piece - the person who will add to all that we offer and all that we hope to grow into. We offer an incredible, talented team, who will make you feel like you're home.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
