Summary
Preferred Start Date: ASAP but by 21st April 2025 Term time only – Initial 2 year temporary contract with a view to permanency depending upon budget approval. Padiham Green CE Primary School is a Christian school where everyone is valued and where we follow the example set for us by Jesus. Our Governors are looking to appoint  a highly motivated and caring teaching assistant to join our hardworking and enthusiastic team. We are a Christian school where everyone is valued and we follow the example set by Jesus. This is a minimum 15 hours contract, flexed up to 30 hours per week.   There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work 9am to 3.30 pm (with a 30 minute lunch break) Monday to Friday. They will also be expected to cover welfare duty at lunchtime as part of these hours.

  • Can develop professional relationships with children, staff and parents.  
  • Can liaise with teachers to support pupils and raise achievement. 
  • Is energetic, positive and has a good sense of humour.

  • Cares passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are or challenges they bring into school. 
  • Is comfortable and confident working one-to-one to support children with additional needs when required.
