Summary
The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant (level 3) to join this popular and inclusive school. The school serves a diverse community which has an increasing number of vulnerable families and families supported by pupil premium funding. 

The successful candidate will be a positive, highly motivated team player, and someone who is keen to grow as a professional, having high expectations of themselves. They must also have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour. The governors are seeking someone who is keen to get to know children as individuals and who is able to work collaboratively, flexibly, as part of a caring, nurturing team.  This role will involve support within lessons across the curriculum in Key stage 1 but with a particular focus on English and mathematics. The delivery of phonics sessions will also be a key element within this role.
