The Headteacher would like to appoint a passionate, positive and energetic teaching assistant, to support our Early Years provision, in our nursery setting
The successful candidate will need to:
- Hold a suitable Early Years’ practitioner qualification/NNEB or equivalent
- Be an excellent Early Years’ practitioner and role model
- Have excellent communication and listening skills
- Show an ability to empathise
- Have a non-judgemental, positive approach
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
- Have flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work well in a team
- Be committed to supporting equality and diversity
- Have a clear understanding of the necessary confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information
- Have a commitment to safeguarding
- Be able to manage behaviour effectively
- Demonstrate the ability to promote our distinct Christian values
The successful applicant will join our Lytham Church of England staff team, and will contribute to the high standard of teaching and learning in the school through their pivotal role in supporting the year Nursery Leader.

This position is part time/term time only 38 weeks. If successful, the salary received will be paid pro-rata based on a FTE annual salary of £27269.

- At least 3 years’ experience of working with children within the EYFS (with at least 2 years post qualification).
- Ability to nurture, relate well and engage positively with children.
- Knowledge of play-based teaching and learning strategies.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- At least 3 years’ experience of working with children within the EYFS (with at least 2 years post qualification).
- Desirable Experience

- Experience of supporting vulnerable children and their associated needs and behaviours
