Summary
We are looking for an efficient, reliable and highly motivated School Business Support Officer.  As a team player you will help foster a caring and supportive environment for our young people.  The hours of work will be 35 per week 8am to 4pm Monday – Friday (with an hour unpaid lunch).

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact within school and able to demonstrate excellent customer service and ICT skills alongside an ability to work closely with staff and students.  This role will, at times, involve working under pressure and within tight timescales.

You must be able to manage your own time and workload and respond to the needs of the pupils, visitors and headteacher whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. 

This position will be over 39 weeks (term time plus 1 week). Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, to including English, Maths and ICT

  • Essential Experience
  • Proven experience within a similar/financial role
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office and financial management systems (SIMS and FMS would be advantageous)
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working in a school office environment would be an advantage but not essential.
