Summary
The headteacher and governors of Crawford Village Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented KS1 Teaching Assistant to work alongside our hardworking, dedicated team.

About us: Our school is set in the small rural village of Crawford in West Lancashire. We are well known locally for being a very friendly, inclusive school and are keen to maintain this reputation. As we are a small school, our staff are acutely aware of each child's strengths, talents and needs. We are recognised in the local authority as a high performing school; in our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were graded outstanding. At Crawford Village, we have high expectations of all and strive for excellence in all we do; aiming to develop every child to the best of their ability in all areas.

We are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant who:
  • is an experienced, outstanding practitioner
  • will support and work as part of our KS1 team
  • prioritises children’s learning and welfare, forging strong relationships with parents and our wider school family
  • is an inspirational and motivational practitioner who believes in our vision and is committed to raising standards, while making learning fun and creative for all

    Observation and interview: On the morning of Tuesday 4th March 2025, shortlisted candidates will be invited to deliver a phonics session within our KS1 class followed by a formal interview.
