Summary
We are looking for a warm, friendly and caring candidate to join our team of welfare assistants.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be responsible for all aspects of supervision, promoting good table manners, ensuring the safety of the children, promoting good behaviour both indoors and outdoors over the lunchtime period. 
  • Have an ability to relate well and communicate with children.
  • Ensure the safety of our children during lunchtime and the lunchtime break.
  • Recognise the importance and value of each individual member of the school family.
  • Have a caring nature and the ability to contribute and work well as part of our strong team.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be willing to manage behaviour, both indoors and outdoors, in accordance with our Behaviour Policy.
  • Have a flexible attitude to work.
  • Have basic knowledge of First Aid (training will be given).
  • Be able to ensure that the children have a positive experience in a safe environment during the midday break.

    The hours of work are - 1 hour 15 mins per day between the times of 12 noon and 1.15pm.   Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent.  If successful the salary received will be paid on a term time only pro-rata basis.
