Summary
Padiham Green CE Primary School is a Christian school where everyone is valued and we follow the example set for us by Jesus and act with a ‘Kind Heart’. Our Governors are looking to appoint two kind, caring, enthusiastic and energetic welfare assistants to join our hardworking welfare team.

These vacancies are 5 hours per week contracts.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work 12 - 1pm Monday – Friday. There may also be the requirement for paid additional hours during special lunchtime events, such as Christmas Dinner Day.  

We are looking for someone who: 
  • Can work as part of a team and reflect on own practice. 
  • Can develop professional relationships with children, staff and parents.  
  • Can liaise with teachers and staff to support pupils.
  • Is energetic, positive and has a good sense of humour. 
  • Is committed to our positive, inclusive and creative ethos. 
  • Cares passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are or challenges they bring into school.  
  • Have knowledge of or be willing to learn about safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral support and relevant policies and procedures
