The school is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Assistant between 12pm and 1pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
We will require the successful applicant to perform the following list of duties which is not exhaustive;
Engage with the children in the playground using the resources provided to encourage positive and meaningful play. Check that groups of pupils do not hang around places that they should not (such as toilets); Monitor and respond appropriately to the behaviour of pupils in the playground. Tend to and log accidents in the playground or dining area; Keep pupils occupied when they have to stay indoors. Other duties at the same responsibility level may be interchanged with/added to this list at any time.
The school governors take the issue of safeguarding the pupils of the school seriously and to this end, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
