Summary
The Governing Body are seeking appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The post is to support a KS1 pupil with ASD.  The successful applicant will liaise with teaching staff to provide support to an individual pupil to raise achievement and enable them to overcome barriers to learning. They will have recent and relevant experience of supporting children with ASD. We can offer a dedicated team of hard working, caring and committed staff. A warm, friendly school where children are at the heart of everything we do and happy, well-behaved children who enjoy being at school.

This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.

  • Experience of working 1:1 in a primary school
