Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our unique 0-4's School for a highly motivated, dynamic and creative Early Years Teaching Assistant/Practitioner. You will join our well-established, committed and hard-working team. The post is temporary in the first instance but has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate  dependant on numbers on roll and funding. Our School offers continuity of education and care through our extended provision throughout the year. The post is being offered term-time , however a willingness to work some ad hoc hours in School Holidays, agreed in advance, to support our extended provision would be highly desirable.

Essential Qualifications
  • Level 2 DFE Full and Relevant Qualification in Childcare Education and or Equivalent 
  • Other recent/relevant training related to the role. 

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant Level 3 (or above) DFE Full and Relevant Qualification in Childcare and Education and or Teaching and Learning
  • Paediatric First Aid 
  • Recent Child Protection Safeguarding Training 
  • Food Hygiene Training 

  • Essential Experience
  • To have experience working in a School/ Nursery Setting 
  • To have experience of working with children 0-5 years
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework 

  • Desirable Experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of teaching, planning and tracking children's progress in the EYFS
  • Experience of working with children with SEND
  • Experience of working in a Nursery Class or School 
  • Experience of supporting families
