The Governors of our friendly, welcoming junior school seek to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking, enthusiastic HLTA who has the passion and commitment to help our school continue to move forward. The post will be based in a Y6 class working along side the Acting Deputy Headteacher as well as providing cover for leadership and management time.
For the post, we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible team player who has high expectations of all children to support us to continue to improve high standards of teaching and learning. The post is required as soon as possible. The post will be 33.5 hours per week, term-time only.
The successful candidates will:
- share the school's belief that children, their learning and the development of their potential are at the centre of all decisions;
- be able to nurture and inspire, challenge and motivate pupils;
- be able to deliver competently and confidently cover supervision;
- be able to deliver competently and confidently small guided groups, intervention groups, IEP work and support whole class teaching;
- hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour;
- be able to deliver one after school club per week (3.30 pm - 4.30pm);
- be resilient, hardworking and dedicated to helping the school achieve success;
- attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities when relevant.
