An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and innovative Attendance Manager to join our team at Brunshaw Community Primary School. The role provides an excellent career opportunity for a self motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and ambitious individual.
We are striving to appoint a School Attendance Manager to provide administrative support and contribute to the effective operation of the school's administration team. The role will include updating registers, chasing reasons for absence, monitoring, and reporting on whole school attendance data, including carrying out home visits, analysing data to identify key areas of concern and providing fun incentives to help increase attendance. As a member of the administration team, the successful candidate will need to work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence.
The successful applicant must have a good level of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), be proficient in a range of IT systems, experience of working in a busy school environment and have excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will be expected to work well as part of a team but also demonstrate initiative and independence. A working knowledge and understanding of attendance policy and procedures in a busy school office is highly desirable. Working in a supportive, family feel environment, the successful applicant will have considerable commitment and determination to make a difference to the children and families in our school.
NB: Please note, this post is initially being advertised as temporary until 13/02/2026. The post will be reviewed and may be continued, subject to budget.
