We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant Level 2b to work as part of the Key Stage 2 Team in our vibrant, diverse and inclusive school.

    We would like to appoint someone who:

  • Builds strong relationships with children and their parents
  • Is an experienced and highly effective Teaching Assistant who can demonstrate their positive impact on supporting and developing children’s learning
  • Has both experience and a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Accurately identifies and addresses children’s next steps, both through child and adult-led learning
  • Uses effective behaviour management strategies  
  • Is passionate about celebrating the diversity and inclusivity that we are so proud of in our school

  • Essential Qualifications

    NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

    Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

    Experience of working with Key Stage 2 children

    Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment

    Desirable Experience

    Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

    Experience of working with children with high level need e.g. ASD, Downs Syndrome, S & L
