Westhead Lathom St James’ CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team. The role would be to support pupils during the lunch break whilst eating lunch and on the playground. The successful candidate will be nurturing and have good relationship building skills.
The hours are 7.5 hours per week, 11:45am – 1:15pm.
We are looking for a welfare assistant who:
- · Is calm, patient and nurturing
- · Is resilient, committed and flexible and able to ‘think on their feet’
- · Builds excellent relationships with children, staff and parents
- Is fun and will engage in playtimes with the pupil they are supporting
