LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the West Lancashire area. This new role is a temporary position, starting after Christmas with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The role is covering full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3:30pm (30 hours per week).
In this role the candidate will be providing TA support in a Y4/5 class, predominantly working on a 1:1 basis with a child who has autism.
The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) / relevant experience.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Monitoring targets for future progress
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
•Excellent behaviour management skills
