Summary
Are you approachable, hospitable and self-motivated?  Do you like to work as part of a supportive team? Would you like to work in a school whose mission is ‘rooted and grounded in God’s love’? Then, our small, semi-rural primary school might be the right place for you.

The governors’ of Balderstone St Leonard’s are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and cheerful person to join our small village school.  The position is permanent, 5 mornings a week 8.30am – 12.30pm term-time only.  The successful candidate will undertake a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, carry out reception duties and provide general clerical and administrative support in our busy school office. These responsibilities will also include financial processes and management of the School Fund bank account together with maintaining manual and computerised records.  There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the marketing and promotion of the school. The role will involve mainly supporting our Headteacher and being a crucial first, friendly and helpful point of contact for all parents and visitors.

Having a working knowledge of a school office would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given.  Excellent communication skills are essential to this role as well as the ability to multitask and be able to prioritise work.  You will need to have the confidence to work independently, using your own initiative and to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, professional and forward -thinking staff team. We are really interested in what skills you could bring to our school family to benefit our pupils and community. This is a great time to become part of the Balderstone family and we look forward to receiving your application. If you would like any further information please contact the school on 01254 769150

Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
