The Governors of Silverdale St John's CE Primary School are looking to appoint a skilled, committed and energetic Site Supervisor to join the staff of our friendly village school. We are looking for a resourceful and enthusiastic person with the necessary practical abilities to clean and maintain our building and attractive grounds to a high standard. The successful applicant will be:
- Hardworking and reliable

- Able to create and maintain a safe, clean, secure, healthy and happy environment
- Enthusiastic and committed to doing a good job and keeping up high standards
- Able to carry out a range of practical DIY tasks

- Able to create and maintain good relationships with children and adults in the school community
The successful applicant will be responsible for our cleaning, site security and routine health and safety testing including record keeping. The role mainly involves cleaning (approx. 80%) but also day to day maintenance and repairs, minor gardening and grounds duties, painting, ordering cleaning supplies and occasional liaison with contractors.
