Summary
Golden Hill (Short Stay) School is a Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Leyland. Golden Hill serves the school districts 6 (Preston), 7 (South Ribble), 8 Skelmersdale and 9 (Chorley). The school provides full time education for primary aged pupils aged 4 to 11 years old. The school currently has places for up to 50 pupils.

The Governing Body at Golden Hill are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our outstanding school. We are looking to appoint a friendly and highly motivated person who will work closely with our Office Manager to support the day to day running of the school office. General duties include welcoming parents and visitors, dealing with telephone enquiries, maintaining the pupil database, following financial processes for ordering and invoicing, updating the school’s financial system, maintaining the school website, using the school systems for recording school dinners, trips and income.

The successful candidate will need to be able to multitask and work under pressure in a busy office environment, interacting effectively and supporting admin colleagues, other staff, parents, children and other stakeholders. We are ideally looking for someone with experience with SIMS and Finance 6, although training will be given to the right candidate. School can offer lots of support from colleagues as well as ongoing professional development opportunities. This position is Monday-Friday, 22 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 9.00am -1pm, Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm, term time only. The salary quoted is full-time equivalent, paid on a pro-rata basis.
