Summary
The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly organised individual as Business Support Officer to join our lovely school. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and possess a positive, proactive and solution led approach to work with the ability to manage competing demands.

They also need to:
  • Be highly committed, motivated, approachable, friendly and caring with a flexible and positive attitude to work with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to multi-task in a busy office environment and understand the concept of confidentiality.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team, yet equally at ease working unsupervised and using own initiative.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to make effective use of ICT.

    Working hours - This position is a term time role, so if successful, the salary received will be on a pro-rata basis with the expectation that the postholder attends inset days for appropriate training events (for additional reimbursement) The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am till 4pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunchbreak)

  • Essential Qualifications
  • GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 in Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 2 Administration or equivalent.

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • First aid qualification

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge of a range of administrative support tasks and office related/school procedures and systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with school staff, pupils, parents/carers and other stakeholders.
