Summary
Lea Endowed CE Primary School is a small, welcoming family school with 140 children on roll. Our Governors would like to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and efficient School Business Support Officer to join our school office. The part-time post is for 15 hours per week, 5 mornings or 3 full days, to be discussed at interview. The successful applicant will be a first point of contact for visitors to the school and the role will include Reception duties, routine administrative tasks and liaising with pupils, staff and parents.

You will have outstanding customer care skills to deal sensitively with children, parents, relatives and other members of the school community/general public. You will have excellent communication skills and ICT skills and the ability to adapt to the demands of working in a busy and vibrant school office. The successful candidate needs to have a friendly and positive manner, a willingness to support our Christian Ethos, and a commitment to safeguarding procedures.

This position is part-time, term time only; please note salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Eng Lang & Maths) Appropriate training in the use of ICT systems including Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent
