Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

    We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team from September 2024.

    This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for their first role in a school, offering a friendly and welcoming environment with ongoing support and development opportunities.

    Day-to-day of the role:

  • Covering different classes across the school, providing a consistent learning experience for students.
  • Delivering some teaching cover as required, ensuring that lesson objectives are met.
  • Conducting group work and interventions to support students’ learning and development.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to plan and coordinate activities.
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a classroom setting, with the ability to manage groups of children and promote learning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different classes.
  • Commitment to professional growth and a willingness to engage in CPD throughout the year.
