Summary
Bleasdale School is advertising for a Site Supervisor to commence employment as soon as possible. The successful candidate will take a full and active role in the life of our school and will join a dedicated, hardworking school team. This is a full-time role and the hours are to be agreed.


We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised individual to contribute to the outstanding support, care, and guidance that the school offers its students. Applications are sought from individuals with energy, commitment, and a determination to succeed.

The school is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 10 mins from Jct 35 M6. We teach through a sensory personalised curriculum in small classes with a large multi-disciplinary team. The school has a wealth of resources, including a swimming pool, Rebound room and a bespoke sensory suite. The successful applicant will work within the school. Key Stage to be confirmed upon appointment.

Essential Qualifications
• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
• NVQ Level 4 qualification in Caretaking/Site Management (or equivalent)
• Full driving license (at School’s discretion)
Essential Experience
• Experience of working as a caretaking or site supervisor
• Experience of supervising staff
• Experience of writing maintenance programmes
• Experience of writing specifications
• Experience of budget management
Desirable Experience
• Experience of planning and programming work
• Experience of testing portable electrical equipment
• Experience of designing and delivering training
• Experience of writing and implanting policies
• Experience of managing contractors
• Experience of working within a school
