Summary
The Governors of Walverden Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant temporary for a year. The post is for 30 hours per week, hours to be arranged.

We are looking for a candidate who has recent experience of working within an Early Years Setting and a sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

In addition, you should show in your application that you have:

  • A friendly and genuine child-centred approach,
  • An ability to be self-motivated and manage time effectively in order to maximise children’s learning time.
  • Deliver a range of activities, programmes of work and work within areas of continuous provision to meet the specific needs of individual children and small groups.
  • Support children in their learning through high quality interaction in their play and also through activities planned by the teacher.
  • Build good relationships with parents which will support home-school links.
  • Some knowledge or experience working with children to provide personalised learning experiences
  • A calm, patient and encouraging manner, with an ability to make learning engaging.
  • Sense of humour
