Summary
We are seeking an apprentice to work in our Reception Unit.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Reception Class teachers and will follow plans to work with children to support their learning and social development.

They will meet children on arrival, support them at playtime, throughout lessons and throughout the lunchtime. 

The successful candidate will also deliver small group sessions (training provided) such as phonics, Maths and speaking and listening activities. Candidates will also need to liaise with parents/carers on occasions. They will record significant achievements to the class teacher and will be required to use their initiative.

The apprentice will get the opportunity to shadow existing staff and to attend training sessions.
