Summary
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our team.

The post will involve supporting the children with their learning and personal, social and emotional needs.  The year group will be allocated depending on the skill set of the successful candidate.

This role includes working as a member of the play team from 12-1pm, supporting the children with their OPAL play.

Hours of work - Requirements for September 2024 are Monday to Friday from 8.50am – 1pm, Tuesday is an 8.30am start for the weekly TA staff meeting.

  • Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent) or evidence of working towards this qualification Level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • (GCSE grade 4 / grade C) in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment. 
  • Ability to relate well to children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and assist children.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with children with additional needs.
