Summary
Carleton Green Community Primary School Arundel Drive, Carleton, Poulton-le-Fylde FY6 7TF (330 on roll). TA3 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a pupil with a physical disability in Pre-School. Required: September 2024 - 3 days per week (Monday – Wednesday).

The pupil is starting Little Chicks at Carleton Green in September 2024. Carleton Green is a thriving and vibrant school which is child-centred in its approach, with the aim of enabling every child to develop their full potential. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for a pupil with a physical disability.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in SEND and be required to undertake necessary training to support this pupil. This position is to support the pupil throughout their Primary School life. The hours of work will be 22.5 over 3 days (7.5 hours per day with ½ hour for lunch).

We are looking for someone who:-

  • Is sensitive calm and nurturing
  • Has a good sense of humour
  • Has the ability to think “outside the box” and use their imagination
  • Has good communication skills and can work effectively as part of a team.

    The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Act 1975. The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).

    Rehabilitation of offenders Act 1974 - details of any criminal record spent or unspent should be sent to the Chair of Governors at school address by the closing date. It is term time only. Please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
