Summary
St Anthony's Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint a Site Supervisor. We would like to appoint a hard working & friendly member to our site team which currently includes 5 dedicated and reliable team members. Total hours required will be 22.5 hrs per week, to be worked Mon to Fri.  Hours will be discussed with the candidate. We have some level of flexibility with regard to when the hours are to be worked but ideally will be looking for someone to work 12.00 - 5.00pm. The post is advertised as term-time with an additional 20 days to be worked during school holidays throughout the year.

The salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis. The successful applicant will hold responsibility for the general security of the building & the supervision of the cleaning staff whilst also carrying out some cleaning duties alongside his/her team members. We require a suitable person who will ensure high standards of cleanliness & hygiene of the building, whilst promoting the safety of all who enter the site.  The role will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs around school, along with some decorating duties. Statutory compliance checks will need to be undertaken as required, training and support will be given to the successful candidate. Systems are already in place to support compliance checks. The successful candidate will be pro-active and take pride in the school and in return they will have the experience of working in an educational environment with the added benefit of being appointed on a school contract rather than a third party facilities management contract.

The Site Supervisor role is an extremely valued role to us all and appointing the right person is essential to the smooth running of the school. The post is, therefore, advertised at the higher Site Supervisor grade. Please see the attached Job Description for the full range of duties for this role, to include general maintenance tasks both inside and outside the school.
