Summary
The Governors of Briercliffe Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. 

Briercliffe is a happy and busy Community Primary School currently catering for over 400 children between the ages of four and eleven years.

We are looking for someone who:

  • will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children, including children with additional needs
  • is organised
  • is a team player
  • has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • has high standards of English and Maths
  • is able to offer intervention sessions
  • will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD
  • is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative

  • Essential Qualifications

    NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

    Maths and English GCSE Grade C (or equivalent)

    Essential Experience

    Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

    Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
