Summary
Ramsbottom Stubbins Primary School are currently looking to recruit a TA on a full time basis. This is a great opportunity to broaden your Primary experiences in a warm and friendly primary school. The successful candidate will have a passion and commitment to ensure all students leave school with solid foundations, a love of learning and ready to embrace the challenges of the future. We offer a friendly and supportive environment, you will enjoy coming to work and, although you will have challenges, you will have fun along the way. Happy children make better learners, happy staff make better teachers. The role may include (but is not limited to) lunchtime supervision, interventions, enrichment activities and in class support. Essential Qualifications
Appropriate qualifications include:
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • NVQ Level 2 - City and Guilds
  • 7231Certificate in Learning Support
  • Open College Network Certificate
  • Specialist Teaching Assistant Certificate (STAC)

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Specialist qualifications in specific areas of learning (e.g. Speech & language) would be an advantage.
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Forest Schools

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Primary School.
  • Implementing small group interventions
  • Working with children who have SEND

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working across the Primary Phase, from Reception to Year 6.
