Summary
The Governing Body at Golden Hill are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding school.

The successful candidate will support the progress and achievements of our pupils and must be able to work effectively as part of a team. School can offer lots of support from colleagues as well as ongoing professional development opportunities.

Golden Hill School is a pupil referral unit for children aged 4 - 11 years.

This is a part time role (32.5 hours term time only). Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or above qualification –appropriate to the post
  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths

  • Recent experience of working with children in KS1 or KS2
  • Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • Recent experience of assisting pupils with their learning

  • Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
