The Headteacher and Governors of Brunshaw Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspiring, conscientious and enthusiastic Key Stage One Teacher to join our established team. This position is a maternity leave cover- 1 year position. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, while covering a one-year maternity leave. We are looking for someone who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning, has a genuine passion for working with young children, and is able to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified teacher status

  • Essential Experience
  • Successful experience of effective teaching within the primary phase.
  • Recent and relevant experience of teaching the National Curriculum.
  • Planning and adapting the curriculum for children with additional needs
  • Outstanding teaching of phonics

  • Desirable Experience
  • Subject Leadership.
