The Headteacher and Governors of Brunshaw Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspiring, conscientious and enthusiastic Key Stage One Teacher to join our established team. This position is a maternity leave cover- 1 year position. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, while covering a one-year maternity leave. We are looking for someone who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning, has a genuine passion for working with young children, and is able to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified teacher status

Essential Experience

Successful experience of effective teaching within the primary phase.

Recent and relevant experience of teaching the National Curriculum.

Planning and adapting the curriculum for children with additional needs

Outstanding teaching of phonics

Desirable Experience

Subject Leadership.
