The governors of Ormskirk CE Primary School warmly invite applications for the opportunity to become our new headteacher.

We are looking for an inspiring headteacher who will champion our school’s core Christian values of responsibility, resilience and respect- nurturing a strong ethos and culture that underpins every aspect of school life. One where every child is encouraged to take ownership of their learning, to overcome challenges with confidence and treat themselves and others with kindness and dignity.

Essential Qualifications

• A practising Christian who regularly attends their own Christian church
• Willing and able to sustain and develop the Christian character of our church school
• Qualified teacher status
• Degree

Desirable Qualifications

Essential Experience

• Successful leadership as a Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher
• Evidence of successfully leading school improvement
• Experience of leading curriculum development
• Experience of monitoring staff performance
