We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our caring and inclusive Church of England primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic leader who is passionate about education, committed to Christian values, and driven to make a positive difference to the lives of all pupils.

About the Role
Working closely with the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher will:
• Play a key role in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
• Be a role model of outstanding classroom practice, inspiring staff and pupils alike
• Lead on teaching and learning, ensuring practice is informed by the latest educational research and evidence-based approaches
• Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development
• Promote a positive, inclusive and aspirational school culture rooted in our Christian vision
• Contribute to safeguarding, behaviour, curriculum development and school improvement priorities

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Be an excellent and reflective practitioner with a proven impact on pupil outcomes.
• Have experience of teaching in KS2.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Be dynamic, innovative, enthusiastic and a committed team player
• Have a clear understanding of current educational research and how it informs high-quality teaching and learning
• Be supportive of, and committed to, the ethos and values of a Church school
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships and partnerships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community.
• Will be ambitious and be committed to developing the talents of everyone and letting their light shine.
