The Governors of Peel Park Primary School are seeking to appoint a Year 6 temporary teacher (maternity cover) to join our school team.
The position is full-time and will begin on 3rd March 2026 and will continue until postholder returns to work (approximately Jan 2027)

The role will involve:
- Working within a three-form entry Year 6 classroom, sharing planning and meeting the needs of the year group with the other Year 6 teachers.
- Working alongside and supporting a highly committed and caring staff team.
- Working alongside the SLT and SENDCo to support children with additional needs.
- Liaising with staff in terms of adapting plans to suit individual needs, providing feedback to staff regarding pupils, and maintaining records for pupils.
- Opportunities to lead extra-curricular activities, such as after-school clubs.
- Leading a subject across our school (if appropriate)
