Information
The Governing Body of Wellfield Methodist & Anglican Church School invite applications from suitably qualified, and dedicated teachers to join our team.  We would like to appoint a creative and inspiring part-time teacher (0.5) from January 2026 or sooner.  The successful candidate will initially work in Year 1 as part of a job share.  The working pattern for this role will be Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday.   This position is suitable for teachers in the early stages of their careers; ECTs - applications are welcome.

  • Are hard-working and inspiring classroom practitioners with an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum for ages 4 – 11.
  • Work well as a member of a team and have adaptability and flexibility in working practices across both key stage 1 and 2;

  • Strive to nurture, motivate and develop every child through high expectations of learning, achievement, progress and behaviour; putting them first in everything they do.
  • Like to make learning fun and exciting for children;
  • Have a good sense of humour;
  • Are supportive of our Christian ethos.
