Thank you for your interest in the post of Nursery teacher in our school. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our staff team.
This post will be to teach a mixed age Nursery class. This is a full-time, temporary position (the post will become permanent for the right candidate and dependant on numbers) and will commence in April 2023, or sooner if available. We are a small, rural school in the village of Pilling, close to Garstang.
We can offer you 53 fantastic children across Nursery and statutory school ages, an experienced and extremely supportive team and dedicated governors. I hope you feel excited about this role and feel you can be part of our very successful team.
We are very much a Christian family of children, staff, governors, parents and the wider community and our children feel extremely happy and safe here. We are very proud of our good school. At present we have 38 children on roll aged between 4 and 11, along with 15 children aged from 2 years old in our Nursery.
Although St. William’s is a Catholic School, we welcome applicants from all faiths.
We welcome, and recommend, visits to our wonderful school. These visits will be by appointment in the week beginning 3rd of January. The appointments can be made through our school office.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to demonstrate their practices as part of the interview process.
Please ring or email the school if you have any further questions about the role and I look forward to receiving your application.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
