All Saints, Hesketh-with-Becconsall CE Primary are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher that has a real passion for learning and wants to make a significant contribution to the school community and the wider life of the school.

Our new Deputy Headteacher will be an excellent practitioner, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. We seek an inspirational and creative Deputy, who will “go the extra mile” to help promote the best possible outcomes fort children and families.

The post will involve working closely with our staff team who feel passionately about children’s experiences in school being rich and of the highest quality. The post will give the individual the opportunity to make a real and lasting contribution to teaching and learning; whole school improvement areas and safeguarding. This role is for somebody that still enjoys being a class teacher, but also wants to be part of the team that oversees the strategic aspects of school life and the sharing of our vision with others. The Deputy will be given weekly time to fulfil their leadership and management duties.
