Water Primary School, located in the Rossendale valley, is known as a friendly and happy school that reflects the atmosphere of a caring and encouraging family. We seek to empower all our children to achieve their true potential through the dedicated work of a team of excellent staff, parents, and governors. Our supportive and engaged team of the staff, pupils, parents and Governing Body are looking to work with a leader who will bring inspiration, transparency, confidence and dynamism to our whole school experience. We will especially welcome a leader with a vision for educating the whole child and setting them on their life journey.

Specifically, we are looking for a headteacher who will:
  • Be an inspirational leader with a proven track record of outstanding leadership and management within a Primary School.
  • Be committed to the development and maintenance of a diverse and challenging curriculum for ALL children.
  • Be fully supportive in the ongoing development of our staff both as individuals who bring unique skills and collectively as a team.
