Information
We are a small Voluntary Aided school in a rural location, serving the village of Weeton and surrounding areas. We currently have 51 pupils on roll in three mixed aged classes. We offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to teach in a beautiful environment which is very much part of local community and the happy supportive parish. 


The Governing Body is eager to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and excellent teacher to cover a maternity leave in a mixed Year 5/6 class. The successful candidate will be passionate about engaging children in high quality learning opportunities, making our good school an even more exciting and enjoyable place for our children to flourish and learn.

    Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Degree or Equivalent.

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Evidence of on-going professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, personal study etc.

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of preparing children for Key Stage 2 SATs.

  • Up to date knowledge of current educational developments at national and local levels particularly monitoring, tracking and assessment. 

  • Desirable Experience
  • Recent and relevant experience as on outstanding teacher.  Experience of teaching in a mixed age class.

  • Be able to develop innovative and creative approaches to teaching and learning.
