The Governors of Moor Hey School are seeking to appoint two outstanding and dynamic full time classroom teacher in our primary who will be committed to playing an active role in the life and continued development of our school.   The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside an enthusiastic and highly skilled team, to motivate and inspire our energetic, enthusiastic pupils, working within our primary and Secondary departments.   



The successful candidate must be an outstanding classroom teacher, with high expectations in all areas and have an excellent understanding and knowledge of SEN and  primary & Secondary curriculum.  They will need to have the ability to consistently teach inspiring and motivating lessons which provide challenge and meet the needs of all pupils. They will have expertise in behaviour management and be able to use a range of strategies to ensure a calm and productive learning environment.



This is temporary in the first instance and full time.

Essential Experience

Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.



Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.



Outstanding classroom practitioner with evidence of setting appropriate expectations to advance learning by engaging and motivating pupils.


Desirable Experience

Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment (special school/short stay school).
