Lancashire County Council is seeking to appoint a Primary+ Team Manager to join their Inclusion Service (Specialist Teaching Service – STS). The successful candidate would be expected to work across Lancashire supporting children with SEND, educational settings and their families.

The Specialist Teaching Service is a specialist peripatetic specialist teaching service that supports the local Authority and Lancashire Settings and Schools in meeting the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. It is a very exciting time to join the service with a new structure about to go live of 6 Specialist Teaching Teams. The service consists Specialist Teaching Teams highly qualified and experienced Specialist Teachers, Specialist Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Deaf Role Model and Sensory Technicians. We work closely with parents and other agencies to support children and young people in a range of settings including at home, early years settings, schools and colleges. From birth we support the youngest children with SEND through Portage and Early Years Sensory Support.
