Information
Due to an increase in management time for senior staff a rare opportunity to join our wonderful school is available.  We are looking for an EYFS Class Teacher to join us on a 0.4FTE basis for our Reception class as soon as possible.

A new and exciting curriculum is embedded, with a focus on learning and exploring for our youngest children.  You can contribute to the continued success of our learning strategies through subject leadership.  This may also be an opportunity to develop further subject specific skills.

The school has a strong team ethos and you will find a supportive work environment lead by a Headteacher committed to the school.  With a strong focus on continued professional development there may be further opportunities for the role.  Staffing structures are under continuous strategic review due to an increasing number on roll and so this may lead to a more permanent full time role in the next academic year.

The school has a low level of pupil premium, but a high focus on interventions and equal opportunities for all.  There are a small, yet increasing number of children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities.  Our SENDCO will work with you to understand any additional needs for any individual children in your class and fully support you with delivery.  The school benefits from an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and the Reception class TA knows the children well having worked with them for over eighteen months.

The working environment is stimulating with a large bright classroom and an outdoor learning space in a beautiful rural location.  Our school truly is a special place and we would look forward to welcoming you if you were to join the team.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'. Information provided by you or the Disclosure and Barring Service will be dealt with in a confidential manner in accordance with the DBS's Code of Practice.
