LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Year EYFS/KS1 teacher for an exciting and caring Primary school in the Chorley area. This new Teacher role is a Full-time temporary position covering 5 day per week, from 08:30-15:30. This role is starting in February 2022 and then is on a ongoing basis until Summer 2022 for the right candidate. (Maternity Cover).



Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching EYFS/KS1 is essential for this position.



The candidate will be expected to lead ICT, ART and DT for the class of 24 pupils. The class of Reception/Year 1/Year 2 pupils is well established already.



Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:




  • Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils

  • Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress

  • Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers

  • Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils

  • Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice

  • Excellent behaviour management skills
