EYFS Teacher- Nursery, from 1st Sept 2021

The Governing Board at Stoneygate Nursery School are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and extremely motivated teacher. The post is a key appointment to drive the success of our wonderful nursery school, and our aim is to find the right person to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
Our main criteria for this appointment is an excellent teacher, who has a genuine child centred approach and loves teaching.

We wish to appoint a strong, effective teacher who:
- is passionate about planning and delivering an inspiring, creative and challenging early years curriculum and has the ability to achieve high standards while being approachable and makes learning fun;
- has the ability to lead, support and work with a committed team of experienced teaching assistants
- sets, and expects very high standards and holds themselves to account through reflective practice
- -demonstrates high standards of behaviour management using a nurturing approach;
- wants to be involved in the broader life of school, whilst being an excellent team player and has the ability to maintain positive relationships with parents, pupils, governors and colleagues;
- is organised, efficient, works hard and passionate about early years education;

Please note; Stoneygate Nursery School is part of a collaboration of two Maintained Nursery Schools and has a headteacher who works across the two Nursery Schools. The successful candidate will be required to work at Stoneygate Nursery School only.

This post is not suitable for Early Careers Teachers.

Significant experience in an EYFS setting

Classroom experience in Reception or KS1
Working in a variety of school settings/contexts
