Information
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Intervention Teacher to work with groups or individuals throughout the 2021.22 academic year. The post begins on 1st September 2021.

The successful candidate will have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils.

They will be willing to fully immerse themselves in the Catholic teaching of the school.

They will have a strong understanding of how to support pupils, across the Key Stages, to reach their potential through structured interventions and the extension of class work.

Alston Lane Catholic Primary School and Nursery is a single form entry school with a record of high standards and high expectations. It is an excellent school for staff at all levels to develop professionally. We are a good school with a high standard of religious provision.

This is a part time, temporary position, for one year, with the successful applicant ideally working five mornings per week. (This can be negotiated for the right candidate).

QTS
GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English and Maths
Desirable Qualifications
English or maths specialism
Essential Experience
Working in a Primary School
Planning and delivering schemes of work, assessment and recording of progress
Desirable Experience
Intervention work with small groups or 1:1
