Vacancy for Head of SEND

Permanent appointment to commence 4th January 2022 or 1st September 2021 for a candidate able to fulfil an earlier start date.

Salary: TLR 1a for a qualified SEND Co-ordinator
TLR 2c for candidates willing to commit to studying towards a post-graduate qualification, to rise to TLR 1a on completion.

All Hallows Catholic High School is a flourishing, high achieving and oversubscribed 11-16 high school. It is well known for its high standards of pupil behaviour and academic success. It is a popular choice for families in the local community each year and has a roll of 902. The June 2013 OFSTED Inspection judged the school to be outstanding and awarded Grade 1 in all categories. In addition, the school was graded 1 in its Section 48 Inspection conducted by the Archdiocese of Liverpool in March 2018.
Required for September 2021 or January 2022, the school's Governing Board is seeking to appoint a dynamic and impactful SENDCo.

The successful candidate will join an effective and cohesive SEND Department which has an outstanding record of provision for pupils with SEND needs. We are excited by the prospect of recruiting a colleague who shares our vision for promoting the welfare of all pupils and especially those with additional learning needs.
