St Leonard's Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated and hardworking team at this successful primary school.

This exciting opportunity has arisen due to a maternity cover and will be in a KS2 class (year group to be confirmed).

As part of the interview process, the successful shortlisted candidates will be expected to teach a 20 minute grammar lesson to a year 5 class of mixed ability children on Tuesday the 25th May 2021. Formal interviews will take place on Wednesday the 26th May 2021.

Essential Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status

Degree in national curriculum subject or Bachelor of Education.

Evidence of recent and relevant training applicable to post

Essential Experience

Experience of teaching in KS2

The ability to evidence/demonstrate consistent, outstanding teaching across the curriculum

Desirable Experience

Experience of leading a subject
