The governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join this popular and inclusive school. The school serves a diverse community which has an increasing number of vulnerable families many of which are supported by pupil premium funding.
The successful candidate will be a positive, highly motivated team player, and someone who is keen to grow as a professional, having high expectations of themselves. They must also have high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour. The governors are seeking a person who is keen to get to know children as individuals and who is able to work collaboratively, flexibly, as part of a caring and nurturing team.
There would be an opportunity for subject leadership, for a suitably experienced applicant. but applications from NQTs welcome. Please state curricular strengths.

Essential Qualifications
  • To have qualified teacher status
  • To be keen to improve as a professional
  • To have experience of working as part of a team in planning and delivering the curriculum for this age range
  • To be able to work flexibly and positively as part of a team
  • To be able to communicate effectively with both children and adults
  • To be able to carry out all their duties upholding the aims and core values of the school and school's principles for learning and
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • To have participated in relevant recent professional development training
  • To have the confidence and dynamism to take on subject leadership responsibility
  • To be able to contribute to an extra-curricular programme
  • To have experience of teaching mixed age classes
  • To have the confidence to teach in KS1 or KS2
