Our mission is to be a school where all can flourish and grow in God's love.
St Thomas' is a small voluntary aided school on the outskirts of Barrowford. We currently have 121 pupils on roll; the classes are divided into a single Reception class and three mixed aged classes. We have strong links with St Thomas' church and the wider community. At Barrowford St Thomas our vision is that pupils will have a positive experience and understanding of Christianity, developing their own spirituality. They will feel accepted, loved, valued, respected and secure. Through a rich and creative curriculum, our pupils will flourish, deepening their knowledge and developing their skills and enthusiasm for life-long learning.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and creative classroom teacher to work as part of our enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated team.

The position will initially involve teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class; however candidates must be willing to teach any age and be capable of teaching up to Year 6.

    Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a lesson in our school and this is likely to take place during the week commencing, 17th of May. Following the lesson observations, selected candidates will be taken forward to the formal interview on Friday 21st May.

These will be held on Thursday 22nd April at 4pm and Monday 26th April at 4pm.
